Aug and Sept Schedules, Special guest workshop!!

August and September Schedules are up!

I am OVERWHELMED with information to share about what is going on in the studio now that school is starting back up. So bear with me, and do scroll to the end!

Quick summary:

Fall schedule is up. New morning classes and more!
Guest workshop and Class august 29th with contortionist, poler and circus performer Kelsey Nicole! Workshop is Beginner friendly. Class will be more Intermediate/Adv. Privates available.
Belly Dance classes are back. Free intro classes August 21st and 28th! Also New subscriptions will include Belly dance classes.
Speaking of: Last chance to sign up for monthly Subscriptions at the old pricing. Prices go up September 1st.
Burlesque workshop in September plus a September Saturday Pole Bootcamp TBD.
Taylor’s Taylor Swift workshop is totally sold out. DO NOT DESPAIR. We are already planning a new fun chair workshop, probably for November.

Changes of note:

My (Tarah’s) Tuesday level 1 pole class is still a level 1 class but I will be focusing on teaching a new choreo every month. Will incorporate traditional level 1 tricks and spins with more challenging options tossed in as needed. Great competition prep! Now at 6pm
Ara’s Multilevel Pole class is back at 7pm on Tuesdays. This is a challenging class but Ara does a good job accommodating various levels. I take her class every week and it encourages me to try new moves or moves I tend to avoid. Highly recommend if you want to progress your pole game.
MORNING CLASSES added on Wednesdays as an experiment. If both classes are at least half full I will keep both. Otherwise may the Best Time Win. If Wednesdays are horrible for you but another morning is better we could do a different day - reply to this email with your best days.
Taylors Level 1 Pole class has moved to THURSDAYS at 8pm. (Wednesdays are a no pole day for now - see Belly dance!) Taylor teaches a solid beginner class. Perfect for learning those basic moves. She also is rapidly progressing on her own pole journey thanks to her gymnastic-y background and is able to offer progressions as needed.
My (Tarah’s) Heels class is now at 6pm Thursdays. This is my FAVORITE class to prep and you really need to take it. A choreo based class but we focus more on musicality, floor and of course how to use those HEELS. Stays low. Great if you are not as strong in the upper body.
Sarah’s Fantastic Flexibility class is still at 7pm. If you want this class to stay on the schedule I need more sign ups! Most pole moves really benefit from additional flexibility and Sarah teaches a well rounded class.
Saturday classes: My Conditioning class on Saturdays is all levels and fine for total beginners as you don’t need any pole knowledge to do the drills. Open Pole is currently FREE. You do need to sign up so you can sign the waiver. Also you need to have some pole experience as this is not an instructional class. Either take a class with us first or ask permission.

She is going to teach a Beginner Floor Acrobatics workshop Thursday August 29th instead of our regular Thursday classes. Open to anybody who wants to explore floor based moves! Included for subscribers!

Kelsey will also be guest leading the Level 1 Thursday Noon Class. I’m super excited to take this class. Will be as advanced as we feel comfortable with. If I know who all wants to take it we can plan in advance what we would like to work on! Special signup under workshops but included for subscribers.

Mona is back from Italy and full of energy! If you are looking for intense, joyful exercise that encourages you to love your midsection I highly recommend her classes! Come see for yourself at no cost August 21s and 28th.

NOTE: The Friday class will be working on a group act to perform Oct 12th. We are planning to include silks and swords! Oh My! If you really want to perform with us we can get you up to speed but you need to start coming ASAP.

Speaking of the October Burlesque show… I am going to offer my Burlesque glove removal and boa choreo again September 13th. Anyone can come to the workshop but we will have an options for more rehearsals for anyone who wants to perform in October. Group acts are a less-stressful way to see if you like being on stage. (this will be a no-pasties show, so not that scandalous. )

Always a fantastic classic Burlesque Variety show (with Pole and Belly dance too, of course). We lean theatrical so if you like your musical theater with a big slice of tease this show is for you.

New Pricing starts Sept 1st

Perk: Will include Belly dance classes and most workshops.

For my Belly Dancers sign up for the new $50/month option. (if you want to pop into both Belly dance classes every week for extra practice I will add you to the second class for free )

Polers: You can still lock in the old prices by signing up before Sept 1st: Unlimited Regular Classes and including most workshops $80 per month 4 classes a month just $40 per month.

Renews monthly on same day you sign up. Can easily cancel anytime and I have it send out a reminder email before renewing. My goal with subscriptions is to be convenient and encourage a regular exercise habit, not to try and get you to pay for a service you do not use.

Subscriptions really help me plan my budget and keep the studio open! Thank you to everyone who supports the studio.

Salsa on Mondays!
