INTRO TO POLE: Great for total beginners and beginners - Introduces foundational moves like body waves, pole walks, direction changes, dip turns, Pirouettes and leg hooks. No lifting or leg skin required. POLE 101: Great for beginners or anyone wishing to improve seamlessly flowing from one move to the next. Focuses on foundational pole moves and builds on introduction to Pole material with emphasis on movement and flow. Strength building but does not require lifting. Often involves learning short choreographies. DAYTIME POLE CLASS: All levels yet beginner friendly class. This class is a combo of Pole 101 and 105 with progressions for advanced students as it is mixed level. Each class usually has some flow/light choreography work followed by tricks and conditioning. POLE 105 (NEW!): Confident beginner class with emphasis on TRICKS and SPINS. If you feel comfortable briefly lifting your body with both hands and want to learn level 1 tricks, spins and mini-combos this class is for you - Ideally take both Pole 101 AND Pole 105 to progress as they completement each other! POLE FITNESS WORKOUT: Great for ALL levels! Strength building and conditioning class that uses the poles as an unique exercise prop and helps you get your skin used to pole contact. Pole dancing requires a lot of strength and if you want to progress quicker while having a fun time this class is for you! This is not a dance class but there are ‘breaks’ to play between hard-core workout segments to keep you motivated. POLE 201: More advanced class for students wanting to progress into level 2 material and move towards inversions (lots of ways to get upside down). Ideally you will be familiar with common level 1 tricks, spins and a basic climb as we will be building on these moves. EXOTIC POLE: Suitable for all levels. Heels, low flow and Choreography focused class. * usually * does not require much lifting, climbing or skin contact (leggings are actually preferred over booty shorts). This is an intense class that will get your heart rate up and is much more challenging than it looks! Great for leaning into the sexier aspects of Pole dance. FLOOR WORK: Suitable for all levels Sensual movement on the floor and/or around the base of the pole. Pole classes will often involve some floorwork as we spin down to the floor and then get back up again - this class focuses on the elements of pole that occur on the floor. However the term ‘floorwork’ comes from contemporary modern dance and is its whole own style of dance.
