Introducing PoleCORE: Complete Pole Fitness
TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS at 6.30 PM
I’m excited to share a small update about how we’ll be organizing classes going forward:
I’m creating a new 90-minute “core” class to serve as a balanced weekly Pole Fitness option.
I don’t always have enough people to run completely separate level-based classes, but in this new Tuesday/Thursday format, I’ll divide the class into beginner and more advanced groups as needed. That way, everyone can focus on skills that match their level.
One advantage is that beginners get to see what more advanced students are working toward, while experienced students can choose to spend extra time refining skills or practicing on their “bad” side if they’re having a less energetic day. It’s a bit like a one-room schoolhouse — more fun and social with slightly larger classes.
About the structure
Back-to-back 2-hour heavy strength-based classes have been exhausting for me, so I’m incorporating a manageable amount of conditioning into this new format — just enough to build strength for inversions and shoulder stability, but not so much that you’ll be sore for days.
Plus, the best stretching gains happen after a solid workout, so I’ll include focused static and PNF-style stretching at the end of class to help improve flexibility.
Introducing:
POLE Core: Complete Pole Fitness
I’ll be offering this twice a week. You can take one or both classes each week to build a consistent training habit and switch days if needed.
Each 90-minute class will roughly include:
✅ 30 minutes of grounded warm-up and footwork drills (with technique prep)
✅ 30 minutes working on specific moves and short combos — covering spins, climbs, and holds
✅ 30 minutes of conditioning and a targeted stretch sequence
Other options still on the schedule:
Intro to Pole on Thursdays (my “slow and easy” progression class for practicing dance flow and gradually building strength)
Exotic Pole on Mondays with Capri (floor and choreography)
Advanced class with Ara, schedule permitting
Also, remember that belly dance is a great way to cross-train for pole, helping with core strength, isolations, and overall body awareness.
I’m really excited about this new format — I think it will be a fantastic balance of strength, technique, flow, and community.
Hope to see you in class soon!
