October class schedule, class specials and a Show!
October has snuck up on me! Hoping for some cooler weather soon? !?
šTweaks to the October Schedule šš
To make meaningful progress in any form of dance or skills-based exercise, it's essential to take at least two classes per week. Iām adjusting the weekly schedule to provide options that allow most students to take multiple classes that complement each other and enhance their learning each week.

Tuesdays at 6 p.m. will be dedicated to a floorwork class, which I absolutely love teaching! Floorwork is a dance style that centers around movements performed on the floor (yes, really!). It's often associated with contemporary modern dance (fun fact: check out Isadora Duncan for a bit of history) and is an integral part of pole dance. Over time, floorwork has evolved into its own distinct style, with many pole competitions even featuring 100% floor routines.
The best part? It has a low cost of entryāmost people already have a floor at home! š Floorwork is a fantastic introduction to sensual movement. Personally, I started with floorwork before being drawn into pole dance, though it can absolutely be enjoyed on its own. It also pairs perfectly with any pole, stretching, or yoga class.
Thursdays at 6 p.m. will now be a Pole Choreo class. I realized that offering both a choreo and a heels class was a bit too ambitious, especially since the two overlap quite a bit. So, Iāve decided to combine them. This means Iāll be incorporating more traditional pole moves into the choreography, alongside exotic elements, to keep things dynamic and fun.
For an example of how well this works, check out my YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BP6ebr5Yq8M. Itās the same Level 1 choreo I taught in August, but performed in heels. If you choose to dance in heels, Iāll guide you through the necessary modifications for dancing in platforms..
Thursdays at 7 p.m. is now our "Sultry Stretch" class. Sarah Kate has been working on blending her passion for yoga and acting into a unique, playful experience that encourages you to tap into your imagination while holding poses. It's the most fun Iāve ever had in a mobility class, and youāve got to come check out her newly revamped (pun intended š) session! As always, weāll be incorporating yoga toys and props to keep things interactive, engaging and accessible to all levels of bendy.

Pricing, Subscriptions and Introductory Offer
As we approach our two-year anniversary (yay!), I've realized it's time for some changes to help keep us going strong. While I havenāt quite hit the break-even point yet (boo!āI guess Iām not a great capitalist), my goal is simply to cover costs. After all, dance makes the world a better place!
With that in mind, Iāve decided to raise our walk-in rates to $20. But donāt worryāthis is still below the national average, where pole classes often range from $30 to $40 per session.
That said, weāre keeping things affordable with our subscription options because Wichita Falls isnāt DallasāI get it! Subscriptions start at just $50 per month for 4 classes, which breaks down to $12.50 per class and encourages you to stay consistent. Win-win! For $80 a month, you get 8 classes, which comes to just $10 per classāsuper reasonable.
Support unique and fun fitness options in Wichita Falls while saving money! We also have an exciting introductory offer: Try an unlimited subscription for 2 weeks for just $25. (Yay for a little bit of capitalism!)
